My success story started when I first came to Multi-Care for some other health issues and no other doctor could figure out what was wrong. Dr. Dave talked to me about Ideal Protein and suggested I meet with Karen, the nutrition coach. I was at a point in my life where I didn’t want my children embarrassed of what their mother looked like. I wasn’t extremely overweight but I was overweight. Once I started I was amazed with the results, my initial goal was to lose 40 lbs. and I had already lost 10 lbs with the help of Dr. Dave and once I started the program my weight was coming off in 3 lb. increments on a weekly basis. I did not cheat and worked out for at least 30 minutes on my elliptical and every other night I added 15 minutes of weight lifting. Once I lost 90% of my weight loss goal I hit a spot where I couldn’t lose anymore. I was getting very discouraged but Karen worked with me and motivated me and I did finally lose the last few lbs. My friends and family cannot believe what I look like. I started wearing a size 10-12 pants and now I am in a 4. My shirts went from a large or x-large to a medium. I lost 29.5 lbs. and 29 inches. My husband says I am high school skinny again. One thing I never thought I would wear again but bought one this weekend was a bikini for the summer. This works! You don’t have the cravings that most diets give you. You also don’t miss the food you were eating once you get a couple of weeks into the diet.
